How do I log in at the site ?

Click on the "Log In" link at the top menu to go to the log in page. Once you get there, enter your username and password in the boxes provided and click "Log in here" button. If the username and password are correct, your Control Panel screen will appear.

General Guidelines for the Users:

Dear Student,
Please follow the below mentioned instructions regarding your online training through www.sis-onlinetraining.com.

1. Your User Id is as conveyed to you through the Insurance company.

2. Please enter the User ID in the marked places on our site www.sis-onlinetraining.com and click on the 'Login' button, you will receive the password into e-mail.

3. During the Training, whenever you Log Off or end your learning session, you will obtain a new password.

4. Learning Session Learning Session Any single study session shall be restricted to a maximum of four hours. However, the total website usage time on a single day is limited to 8 hours.

5. You can undertake any number of study sessions subject to - (i) obtaining new password for each session; (ii) a session's duration restricted to maximum of 4 hrs; and (iii) maximum limit of 8-hour website usage on a single day.

6. After completing every chapter, you have to attend the test papers correctly.

7. Candidates have to complete the minimum hours required for every chapter and also they have to complete the final mock test in the website, then only they will get the Training completion certificate.

8. Log in by the same user ID simultaneous on different machines is not permissible

9. Validity of your Login ID will be as given below (from the time you first login) :- a. Pre-licensing with professional qualification :: 25 hrs or 14 days whichever happens earlier

10. It is recommended that the First Login must take place before expiry of 14 days from the date of your registration for training by Sterling Star ; otherwise you will have to ask for re-registration for training with us.

11. In respect of pre-licensing course, there has been provided a revision test at end of each chapter. User has to attempt the test before proceeding to the next chapter. The time spent on chapter tests is not added to the account of mandatory hours.

12. There is a provision for automatic log off if the user doesn't brows continuously for 10 minutes

2. Please enable active X plugins before login, failing which the user will not be able to login. Instructions to enable Active X Plugins.
   1. Open Internet Explorer.
   2. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
   3. On the Security tab, click the Custom level button.
   4. Scroll down the Security Settings list until you see ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
   5. For Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls, click Enable.
   6. Scroll down to Download signed ActiveX controls and click Enable or Prompt.
   7. Scroll down to Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins and click Enable or Prompt.
   8. Scroll down to Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting and click Enable or Prompt.
   9. Click OK, and then click OK again.
3. For full functionality of this site it is necessary to enable JavaScript.Here are the instructions how to enable JavaScript in your web browser
   1. On web browser menu click ''Tools'' menu and select ''Internet Options''.
   2. In the ''Internet Options'' window select the ''Security'' tab.
   3. On the ''Security'' tab click on the ''Custom level...'' button.
   4. When the ''Security Settings - Internet Zone'' dialog window opens, look for the ''Scripting'' section.
   5. In the ''Active Scripting'' item select ''Enable''.
   6. When the ''Warning!'' window pops out asking ''Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone?'' select ''Yes''.
   7. In the ''Internet Options'' window click on the ''OK'' button to close it.
   8. Click on the ''Refresh'' button of the web browser to refresh the page.
